A traditional formula for rebuilding strength, energy, and recovery

Maxitone (Shi Quan Da Bu Pian) supports the body when deep tiredness, weakness, and depletion build up over time. It is consisting of Four Gentlemen Formula, a basic formula for tonifying Qi with a combination of Angelic Four, a basic formula for nourishing Blood, and the adding of astragalus and cinnamon, nourishing Yang herbs. First recorded in Tai Ping Hui Min He Ji Ju Fang (Imperial Grace Formulary of the Tai Ping Era) in 1078–85, it has long been used when the body needs to rebuild after illness, blood loss, overwork, surgery, or long periods of strain. It remains a trusted choice when energy, warmth, and resilience feel difficult to restore.

When to use it

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, practitioners choose Maxitone when both Qi and blood have become depleted and the body no longer feels strong enough to recover well. Energy may feel low. Appetite may drop. The limbs may feel weak. Some also notice pale colour, dizziness, shortness of breath, loose stools, sensitivity to cold, or slow healing.

Many choose this formula during recovery from illness, surgery, childbirth, chronic fatigue, long-term weakness, or demanding medical treatment. It suits those who want support when the body feels deeply run down and needs more than a quick boost.

Why it stands out

What makes Maxitone so useful is its rebuilding approach. It does not only target low energy. It helps nourish both Qi and blood while also supporting warmth and strength. This makes it a strong choice for natural support when recovery feels slow and the body needs steadier restoration.

Research

Research on Maxitone has shown encouraging results in fatigue, blood support, immune function, and recovery during intensive medical treatment. Studies have reported improved white blood cells, haemoglobin, appetite, treatment tolerance, and broader support during chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and post-surgical recovery. Research has also highlighted immune-regulating effects and possible benefits in wound healing, anaemia, gastric recovery, and cancer-related weakness. This gives Maxitone strong modern relevance and supports its traditional use when rebuilding strength and resilience becomes a priority.
