Original Name: Xiao Chai Hu Tang / 小柴胡汤

Action:
Harmonizes Shaoyang (exterior and interior), liver and stomach

Indication:
Shaoyang Syndrome (external pathogen in between superficial and internal, liver and gallbladder)
Disharmony of exterior and interior, liver and gallbladder

Key Symptoms and Signs for Use:
Fullness in the chest
Nausea
Bitter taste in the mouth,
Alternating attacks of chills and fever
Wiry pulse

Prolonged duration of common cold
Prolonged duration of virus influenza
Menstrual cold
Chronic hepatitis
Improving physical constitution
Nausea and vomiting
Malaria
